Motion Detection Cameras
CQ SET uses technology to efficiently track and monitor feral animal movements. Our cameras are set up at a trap or location where signs of feral animal movements are present; the cameras are activated by motion detection either taking a photo or short video that is sent directly to CQ SET for review.
This active monitoring provides several advantages:
- Reduced time onsite to locate pig populations and travel routes.
- Instant confirmation of pig activity with continuous round the clock monitoring
- Confirmation of trap activation day and night ensuring animal wellbeing is not compromised when trapped
- Ability to request images day and night to confirm cameras are working correctly and traps are intact and not activated.
The use of motion detected cameras results in reduced man hours, efficient trapping & humane management of trapped animals. Motion detection cameras are used to monitor travel & feeding times as well as providing an indication of the number of feral animals and their populations present in the area.
